Now That's More Like It!

While the "Storm of the Century" the weathermen were prophesying about a few weeks ago turned out to be "The Great Snowflake of 2010," last night's storm out-did the hype.  Of course where we live, conditions seem to be on par with Canada.  I don't know what the rest of the state looks like today, but here's how it looks in our neck of the woods...





 A huge thank-you to our neighbor Mitch, who liberated the front door from captivity.  I just didn't have it in me after I finished the driveway.  The only thing I have left to say is "What were you whining about again, New York?"  (yes, my brothers, I'm talking to you!)

Snow Day!

We got so much snow today, and all at once.  It was perfect play snow and we had a blast.  The kids and I joined up with some of the neighbors and frolicked for about 4 hours straight.  In the end we were exhausted, soaking wet, and happy from head to toe!

Santa Status: Sort-of Scary



We're not picture perfect, but based on last year's photo, we've taken a step in the right direction...I guess.

 Gavin's either scared into submission, or practicing his "bored" face for when he joins the social elite.  We've dubbed him Sir Merryweather should he choose to be knighted this christmas.
