Well, last week we blazed our own "Oregon Trail" through three of the most beautiful places in Oregon. Our vacation with Troy's dad and Step-Mom took us through Seaside, Astoria, Lincoln, Newport and Portland (just to name a few!) We kayaked in a backyard lake, rode bikes through the forest, watched elk on the beach (wow!), walked in the "Goonies" stomping grounds, built sand casltes, and celebrated troy's little brother's 4th birthday with a real Hermiston watermelon! After a week of comfortable 60 degree weather, it sure was tough coming home to Utah's triple
digit heat. And guess what? Aliyah took her first steps on the beach! Hooray!Like Father like Sons! (and son-in-law)

soooo fun! ben's family lives close to the portland area and we've visited many of those places... we went on our honeymoon to cannon beach. such a cute little town! looks like a great trip. :)
It's nice to see Troy's dad looking so good. And if you didnt already have your hands full it sounds like you are in for a whole new adventure with the walking phase. It wouldn't surprise me if she went straight to running!
